Hitting to all fields...

- Was talking to Court about my cousin's wedding in May of 2005. Court mentioned she may be pregnant at that time. It didn't weird me out, I just hadn't thought about it. I think I'm ready for a baby...I already keep weird hours and barely get any sleep at night. We have enough DVD movies (and a Tivo) so never being able to go out isn't a problem...and it's not like I really know anybody here that I'd miss going out with. Basically, only thing to worry about is the baby getting hurt, making a mess, destroying things, and stinking up the house. Between the other 2 inhabitants of this house, I've already dealt with ALL of those things.

- I've now got the amazon.com credit card, which I'll only use for amazon.com purchases. This makes 2 credit cards in my name, up from last year's (and the previous 10 years) amount of ZERO. I wonder what happened with my credit? It's not like it reflects my being married. Must be paying the ring off and just about having my card paid off. I also pay all my student loans on time...that must help too.

- Watched ESPN Dream Jobs on Sunday...I think Tony was right on the radio today...'America' must have voted for who they wanted to keep ON the show, rather than who they wanted OFF the show, as it was supposed to be, since the person 'America' voted for to be off the show (online) was one of the top 2 people that did the 'My Sportscenter' segment.

- Went into Blockbusters this afternoon, meaning to get a card (which I haven't had since I had my Dad's card) but they didn't have any copies of "Lost in Translation" in so I left because that's what I wanted to rent. If I see it by the Oscars the only best picture nominee I will have missed is "Master & Commander", and I can live with that.

- Been working out around 3 times/week. 2 miles on treadmill at 3.5mph and 10 incline. I've smartened up and started using the treadmills with the built-in fans, which is cool. Also been listening to 'Around the Horn' on the radio (which is simulcast by some kind of dohickey they have at the gym which plays the TV's audio on a radio signal) and without Kellerman it's actually watchable. Though I still hate Mariotti...and where the heck are Bob Ryan and Woody Paige?

- Also on the 'working out' track...the good news is, I've been lifting weights enough to increase the weight I normally lift on the 2 machines I use by 15lbs. The bad news is, I've increased the weight I normally lift by 15lbs. I hope I don't get mugged tomorrow, as I'm not sure I'll be able to raise my arms.
