ESPN.com - MLB - Recap - Angels at White Sox

Thanks to Tivo, we could see that the ball was actually caught. But, a win is a win and at this level, you take it.

The thing I hate about this is it's going to be talked about over and over and over on Tony's radio show tomorrow and PTI.

Wait a sec...just realized tomorrow is Yom Kippur. No Tony K on radio or PTI. Well, forget everything I said then.

To late, this morning thats all they talked about on Mike and Mike, over an hour of ex catchers, Mike Sciosa, Ozzie Guillen, Geoff Blum, Pierzynski, Mike MCfarland and others talking about this damn play. Hey, baseball is a game of inches and human error. We talk all the time about ties going to the runner and was he safe or out, to close to tell. It was a heads up play by AJ and a bad call by the ump. GO WHITE SOX!

It's going to be talked about ALL DAMN DAY and it won't change anything.

it's not like THAT call gave up the winning run. The next batter could have ended it all. But no, double to score the run. And I understand the pitcher was rattled and everyone was upset blah blah blah. still.

Its like how the SG always talks about how everyone blames Buckner, when there were like 12 different two out, two strike, pitches that could have ended the game.

Anaheim could have gotten the next batter out and this wouldn't be an issue, but they couldnt get the job done.

Tony's JEWISH?! welcome Jay Mariotti!!

and why is the word you have to type to prove you're a person always in weird font and smushed together so it's hard to decipher even as a REAL PERSON?! Why cant it just be typed normal?

Yeah, I know. It's the type of thing you love when it goes for you and hate when it's against you. I didn't see it live since I didn't watch the game, but Court and I saw it later.

I dont' see how the home plate ump could have even see the 'catch' *through* the catcher, but whatever.

I like the word is weird like that so automated tools can't detect it.

Good point Michelle, its not like I lost the game for the Cubs, Gonzalez should have made the next play.

"Bartman's our Bill Buckner. A sad scapegoat"

my use of the word "our" makes it seem like I care about the Cubs and that they're "my" team. Yeah, I don't, and they're not. just wanted to clear that up.

FU Bartman!! As far as I'm concerned YOU are the cause of the Cubs DEFEAT!! FU! FU! FU! Everyone can say whatever they want about this and that should have happend after Bartman's f'ing bonehead move. But guess what?? We'll NEVER KNOW! Because you know why? The f'ing timeline changed as soon as Bartman did the evil deed! If you don't follow me, I don't care!
