Uh, I don't care about the Yankees, since I'm a Cubs fan and not a Red Sox fan. I care about where the Cards and Astros are in the standings, relative to the Cubs.

Same here. I think the author just thought it was odd that the Cubs have a better record than the Yankees. Don't you think that's odd? Hello!
