The new Gatorade machine at work (glass front, bottle retrieved by a mechanical arm) contains no, none, zero, Gatorade. It is filled with Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mountain Dew despite the large Gatorade signage on both sides.

Simple explanation really, Pepsi-Cola and Gatorade brand names are all under PepsiCo. From the pepsico website: Many of PepsiCo's brand names are more than 100-years-old, but the corporation is relatively young. PepsiCo was founded in 1965 through the merger of Pepsi-Cola and Frito-Lay. Tropicana was acquired in 1998 and PepsiCo merged with The Quaker Oats Company, including Gatorade, in 2001.
remember that one super bowl commercial.... with the surveilance camera in the store with the coke worker where they played "me cheating heart" song in the background and he grabbed the pepsi can and they all fell down. funny.
