I've seen a lot of high-priced televisions and I can't say I've been too impressed. I just feel that going the 'projector' route is the next level. I'll definitely head to cnet and some other sites to check out reviews before I buy. I'm definitely not going tube television again...though I like the TV I have now.
Have you watch a show on a DLP televison yet? I believe they are better than plasma and LCD, but you need to sit down and watch a movie, sporting event, and television show, preferably all in in HD to get the true feeling .
I've definitely got a LOT of research to do before the purchase...which is far in the future in any case. I'll definitely take a look at reviews and make my choice--then I'll search for good prices. Also, there's a screen to consider as well.
